Family Staycation 2020

Arizona is the perfect state for doing a staycation with the family, they have so many beautiful locations & resorts. We decided to take the kids to Tucson to visit my dad & spend the weekend at the JW Marriott Starr Pass 

Given the current situation we were a bit hesitant but we did our homework and decided to go for it.  The place is incredibly clean, they require masks inside the resort, people are very respectful and maintain their distance and to be honest if there was 15 people in the pool that was a lot. The location itself is stunning - since you are up on a hill and away from the city. I give this place 10/10

They have two pools - a lazy river + a regular one & a fun splash area for the little ones. A great fun resort for everyone.

Quarantine 2020

This year has been an interesting one to say the least. So much has happened and aside from all the negativity that's been going on I'm beyond grateful to be able to be with my family. We've been on a "lockdown" situation since March. Lucas school completely stopped so we had to adapt and do online. Then we were asked to stay indoors for almost 2 months while things calm down. As a stay at home mom + a back to school student we've had to figure out what works for us and make the best out of the situation. School is supposed to start again in August (now it was moved to October) - but we were asked once more to stay inside due to more cases of COVID in our state. Lucas will start 1st grade as a homeschool student again and we decided to try out for the semester and see how it goes. These are definitely uncertain times but I must say Jehovah has truly blessed us with wonderful information, support and love. 

Here are some random pictures of how our quarantine has been! Between cabin fever, laughs, lots of TV & video games, cries, tantrums and what not we have managed to do our best. Daniel & I went on a staycation to Tucson and left the kiddos with  my dad. For anyone in AZ that's looking for an amazing resort this is your place.
