We are back in school mode, or at least trying to get back on it. Today was Lucas first day of school and we are so excited for him. He is starting 1st grade and we opted for online in hopes to return to school sometime this year. I did my best to make a fun space for him & make it seem "school like"
But all I can say is this will be an adjustment for all of us. Trying to balance school work + down time for the boys. The school has done an amazing job using Canvas and organizing everything as best as possible.
He's sorta enjoying doing online but misses school, specially the playground and lunch time.

Words to my son: "My dear Lucas, I can't believe you are in 1st grade already. It feels like just yesterday I had you and in a blink of an eye you went to Kinder and now 1st grade! My dear boy as much as I love seeing you this little I can't wait to see you grow into the amazing and wonderful person you've become. You are funny and sarcastic - you got that from your daddy ;) we laugh about it because you two are so similar. You are an amazing big brother, you make friends so easily, and have such a swag about you. I smile every time I see you. You made me a mama and I will forever be grateful to God for giving me THE BEST CHILD EVER! You are everything to us baby boy. You will do amazing this year"
