2020 with The Palomares

 This year was different, to say the least. From online schooling, to being quarantine, no tp in most stores :/ the new norm - wearing a mask, selling our first home in texas, along with many other eventful moments, I can say 2020 truly made us stronger. We got to spend more time together as a family, cherish our little ones and all the wonderful yet crazy things they say and do. 2020 was strange but also extremely wonderful. Here are some of our memorable / fun moments as a family. 

Fun things that happened in 2020:

• Leo got his big boy bed + went to Disneyland for the first time (see HERE)
• We went to spring training & saw the Dodgers (see HERE)
• Traveled to Tucson & took the kids to a fun hotel 
• Lucas graduated from Kinder (HERE)
• Lucas got his first fish (which I sadly & accidentally killed while cleaning his tank, I'm sorry buddy) :( 
• Online school started for Lucas (1st grade)
• I changed my major & I've been getting straight A's!!
• Lucas took his friends to visit papa at work 
• We stayed in A L O T!
• Lucas got his first video game headset (&& loved it)
• Baseball & football practice 
• Slumber parties!
• Went to the movies one last time before they closed up (we saw Onward)
• Lucas went to his first ASU basketball game & got to play in the court after the game 
• I also took a major break from social media & it was nice! 
• && lots of family time, walks to the nearby trails and park time :)

Around this time things started to change for everyone. Things were closing around our area, Lucas was doing homeschool and at this point we felt a bit overwhelmed being indoors all the time. We decided to go for a stroll around a local trail and to our surprise it was beautiful. I'm happy I can make these kinds of memories with my boys.

I decided to go with a location that meant a lot to me. As a teenager my family and I moved to Los Angeles, CA. That's where a lot of important events happened in my life.  I met Daniel, we got married, we had our first baby boy. I met some wonderful friends and created unforgettable memories. Even thought we no longer live in California I will always call L.A. our home. I can't wait to find a special place  in our home for this lovely map.

Nature Photography

 Evey time I get the chance to do a session I become a bit obsessed with taking pictures of the nature around me as well. There's something so calming and beautiful about capturing that moment just as it is. I find it peaceful. So I decided to start capturing more nature moments & blogging about them.
