& just like that Lucas started Kinder. It is true what they say: "They grow in a blink of an eye." Lucas had prepared his backpack, what he was going to wear, up to his socks, he was just ready. I woke up him up prepared him his favorite - pancakes - and his favorite toys were set on the table so he would feel special. We got ready and a surprise was waiting for him downstairs. Daniel was at work that day but he showed up with his fire crew to pick up Lucas and take him to school. It was so exciting - but Lucas was a bit scared when he got inside the fire truck. I'm sure it was a lot for him. Once we got to school he was calm and happy. When the bell rang they allowed parents to go inside the play area to say bye to the kiddos. It was honestly a bittersweet moment. He didn't hesitate, he was so confident and happy to be in school, a total big boy moment for him. Gosh I cried like a baby - but I was also very happy for my baby boy. We are so proud of you bebito - te queremos mucho.

Lucas had a wonderful year. He made so many friends, learned so much, THANK YOU TO HIS AMAZING TEACHER MS PUENTES. I was able to participate in some of his class activities and volunteer. It was a fun and different experience for all of us since COVID hit us mid year. But we are still very excited and happy for our baby boy.
